The goal of this study was to evaluate the chemical contamination of the walls of this motorway underpass.
The rebar spacing, concrete cover, contamination and corrosion risk were mapped.
It was concluded that there was no major contamination within the structure. Some local hotspots were detected, it was found that they were due to water running through cracks.
