Bridgology was assigned to process the GPR data of a public parking in Geneva. Our client inspected the slabs covered with an asphalt layer and forwarded us the GPR data for processing. The goal was to evaluate the condition of the parking slabs.
The contamination map shows some local areas with increased chemical contamination. However, no direct correlation between these areas and the most popular parking spaces (near the stairwells) could be found. On one floor, an increased risk of corrosion was noticed in the central strip, which is mainly due to a reduced concrete cover in this area.
